As a Co-Founder of ABR Global Ventures, Edie brings her decades of experience to advise ABRGV’s clients on global hospitality opportunities and transactions.

Edie is a highly accomplished travel industry CEO and Member of the Board of Directors who has delivered succesful billion-dollar outcomes across the luxury travel, retail, and technology industries. As a “mobile global” executive and positive disrupter, she has honed a 35+ year career across sales, operations, marketing, digital, and social distribution channels to transform during her tenure some the world’s most recognizable global cruise brands including Crystal Cruises Corporation, Royal Caribbean’s Azamara Cruises, Carnival Corporation’s Cunard, Seabourn and Carnival brands and Ponant Cruises. As an award-winning leader with strong corporate governance, financial and business acumen, she is sought after for companies seeking to establish market leadership and global brand dominance.

Edie is a Member of the Board of Directors for the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), where she is the Chair of the Nominating and Remuneration Committee. The STA was formed and is funded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund in line with their #SaudiVision2030 goals. Previously she was a Special Advisor to the KSA’s Public Investment Fund as well.

Additionally, Edie was a Director for RAND Corporation’s Center for Global Risk and Security (CGRS) from 2017 through 2020. As an Advisory Board Member she provided governance and fiduciary guidance, advising from global corporations’ perspectives.

She has been an Advisory Board Member to the Retail Summit since its inception.

Mrs. Rodriguez’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science from Nova Southeastern University and has attended the Executive Management Programs at Harvard, Stanford and Wharton. She is deeply skilled in the science of governance, relationships and executive leadership effectiveness. Throughout her career she has been the recipient of many global awards including EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
